I'm all about easy recipes. I have a cookbook full of recipes of my favorites, but I'm still coming up with more and you get to see them here! This will take you 10-15 minutes from start to finish.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (I get mine from McDonald Farms through Harvest Moon)
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 c chopped onions
1/2 c salsa
1 T coconut oil or lard
2 T cumin
1 T chili powder
1/2 T dried oregano
Dash of salt
In a pan over medium heat, melt the coconut oil. Add the chopped garlic and onions and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add the ground beef and spices. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, add the salsa and turn the heat off but keep the pan on the stove. Let it simmer for a few minutes and mix thoroughly. How easy was that?! Throw it into a savory crepe with some guac. Bon appetite! This recipe is part of my Skillshare course, Healthy Freezer Meals for Busy Lives.
